ABC/BOC Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist

Location: Richmond, California Job Type: Full-Time Setting: Outpatient

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, design, fit, and deliver custom prosthetic and orthotic devices.
• Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver follow-up care, adjustments, and patient education to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, rehabilitation teams, and other healthcare professionals.
• Travel to assigned rehabilitation facilities, hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities to provide patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Work closely with the in-house fabrication team to ensure timely, high-quality device production.

Qualifications

• Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) certification through ABC or BOC in good standing.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Candidates who are board eligible with strong qualifications will also be considered.
• Demonstrated expertise in prosthetic evaluation, fitting, and patient management.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required for travel between facilities.
