Pay: Average $1,300.00 - $1,400.00 per week

ACCEPTING NEW DRIVERS!!

Sign-On Bonus: $3,000 Total
Paid in installments based on continued employment and good standing:

• $500 after 90 days of employment
• $1,000 after 6 months of employment
• $1,500 after 12 months of employment

Bonus payments are contingent upon active employment and satisfactory performance at each milestone. Additional terms and conditions may apply.

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with manual transmission, backing, and blind backing. This is an advanced account for maneuvering a trailer. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting liquor to the Virginia ABC Stores safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and customer service. This account is operated by Estes, all daily operations decisions and scheduling will come from Estes management. DBX Group is the staffing company which employs the drivers for this account.

Description

• Deliveries to ALL Virginia ABC Stores. No docks, all deliveries through ABC Store backdoor.
• HAND unload ~1,200 cases (full 48ft trailer) to 3-5 stores per day. Ride along helper, roller racks, and hand trollies to assist in unloading. Must be able to lift an average of 30 lbs safely and repeatedly.
• Start and stop in Mechanicsville, VA. Monday through Friday. Home daily. The account has 3 layovers per week which are required to be completed through driver volunteers or a schedule rotation.
• Average leave out time 2:00am-5:00am. Average 10 hour shifts.
• Day cab and 48ft trailer. Manual transmission and automatics.
• Route based pay (distance driven + case rate). Guaranteed daily minimum $225 after 60 days. Average weekly pay is $1,200-$1,300/week.
• If you have 2+ years of experience you will start at a higher pay tier bringing your average closer to an average of $1,300 - $1,400/week.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks with manual transmission
• Safely load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and operational readiness.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit.
• Adhere to all safety protocols while driving on public roads and within loading/unloading areas.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL A) with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive 10-speed manual transmission truck (REQUIRED).
• 1 year of CDL A experience
• Proven experience as a truck driver.
• Ability and willingness to touch/move freight of about 30lbs safely and efficiently.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
